Bragging rights

Before Val and I came up with the idea of starting this blog we completely re-did my kitchen. I'm sad to say that we didn't think to take that many before or during photos but we do have a couple before and after to show off! Although I would love to be able to go back in time and take lots of photos and even present a tutorial on how to do a backsplash and on how to refinish cabinets - I haven't quite got the kinks worked out in my time machine yet. However, the kitchen turned out so good that I just couldn't not post our handy work.

Val and I painted the walls yellow, installed the while tile backsplash, spray painted the hood, refinished the cabinets and replaced the hardware!

I'm pretty sure that doing this kitchen was what inspired us to really dive into being true DIY divas - it was our WD40 and got our ball rolling! Find something you want to fix or improve and just do it! If we can do it - anyone can!
